Cam Ranh International Airport has recently intensified its security system solutions.
According to Cao Thi Anh Thu, office manager of Cam Ranh International Airport, under the direction of Airports Corporation of Vietnam, the airport has strengthened its security force and made close surveillance at gates and all sites. The airport also has measures to prevent the information system from attacks and made plan providing against network attacks. In addition, the airport always coordinates with the authorities, police, military, customs and medical quarantine teams to keep safe and order at the airport.

Cam Ranh International Airport now serves 110 flights a day, including about 50 international ones. Cam Ranh International Airport was designed to receive 1.5 million passengers a year, but only in the first half 2016, the airport served more than 2.2 million passengers, including more than 1 million international ones. The airport served over 14,000 flights, twofold increase year-on-year. Confronted by this sharp increase, Cam Ranh International Airport has coordinated with units and companies on land as well as airlines to serve the high travel demand. In addition, the airport has upgraded and broadened stations, waiting halls, parking, offices for airlines, etc. The number of gates also was put up. Flying area has also been improved comprehensively.
Cam Ranh International Airport and Airports Corporation of Vietnam has jointly expanded the airport’s stations to increase its capacity from 1.5 million passengers/year to 2.5 million passengers/year, serve 1,350 passengers at the same time, continue progress of works under construction at the airport, supply services for airlines well, etc.
