Vingroup to inaugurate first-class football academy in Southeast Asia

The Promotion Fund for Vietnamese Football Talent (PVF) of Vingroup will officially inaugurate its first-class football academy, based in Van Giang, Hung Yen Province on November 20. PVF Center in Ho Chi Minh City will also be moved to Hung Yen.

The PVF Football Academy has a total area of nearly 22ha; is equipped with numerous international standard technical rooms and facilities such as the 360s gym simulator, PlayerTek - player performance tracking device, one 3,600-capacity stadium, six 11v11 training pitches, and an 8-storey dormitory system. PVF’s students are allowed to study at Vinschool.

 

 

 
The coaching committee includes Vietnamese coach Hoang Anh Tuan (head of coaching committee), coaches and professionals from England: Terry Robinson, Andy Preece, Steve Stennett, Jason Brown, Nick Dawes, Tom Ryan, and Chris Cook. 

 

 
“The PVF Football Academy is comparable to the leading junior football academies in England,” said former Manchester United International managing director and PVF’s consultant Mike Farnan.
