Sanest Khanh Hoa has been the only male team in the country which has gained all trophies at the domestic tournaments, including the 2008 national championship, 2010 Alaska Cup, 2016 Hung Vuong Cup, 2016 Dam Ca Mau Cup, and 2017 Hoa Lu Cup. However, since winning the first national championship in 2008, until now, the representative of Khanh Hoa has still not achieved the second national title.
Sanest Khanh Hoa is having many quality and experienced players. The young players of the team have also been said to stand out among the young ones of the same ages. Nevertheless, in around three recent seasons, Sanest Khanh Hoa often declined towards the end of the tournaments they took part in. In the 2015 and 2016 season, although winning many consecutive matches, the team lost the trophy to their opponents because of mistakes made in the final match.

In the 2017 season, the inconsistent form of Sanest Khanh Hoa has still been not improved. For example, the reigning champion Sanest Khanh Hoa only won one out of four games at PV – Dam Ca Mau Cup (held in Thanh Hoa in October) although the team, prior to this tournament, had achieved trophy of Hoa Lu Cup and the first round of 2017 National Championship. It could be seen that Sanest Khanh Hoa failed at the 2017 PV – Dam Ca Mau Cup because of their monotonous play and mistakes. Besides, some players like setter Le Van Viet, middle blocker Thanh Phong and outside hitter Tu Thanh Thuan, etc. had just recovered from injury.
The second round and ranking round of the 2017 National Volleyball Championship will take place in Tay Ninh (Group A) and in Dak Lak (Group B) in early December. Reportedly, the participants have been actively preparing for the tournament. The reigning champion The Cong is having training course in Nha Trang. Trieu Tu Thien and his team Sanest Khanh Hoa is practicing at the provincial Sports Technique Training Center. Hopefully, Sanest Khanh Hoa can learn from the mistakes and failure at the 2017 PV – Dam Ca Mau Cup and have enough time to overcome the shortcoming in order to achieve the highest prize.
