From the beginning of 2017, Khanh Hoa’s sports department has held many interesting and attractive movement football activities, which helped to promote the sports movement in the province and were highly appreciated by the professionals

Vo Ngoc Hung, Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports said, “The year of 2017 has seen the strong development of Khanh Hoa’s football movement. The traditional tournaments like futsal tournament and football event of the provincial Physical Training and Sports Festival were prepared and organized better. Besides, some other sports tournament which have been held for the first time were also well organized and created their own attractiveness.”

The provincial mini football tournament – BIVINA Cup taking place in July has been the largest scaled movement sports tournament in Khanh Hoa. Reportedly, in the past, this tournament, sponsored by other businesses, only lasted two or three days and was joined by just a few teams. This year’s tournament, sponsored by BIVINA, took place in more than two months, creating an interesting playground for the players in all localities throughout the province. As said by Hung, after this year’s tournament, the sponsor expressed their intention to keep organizing the tournament annually. They also wished that the tournament would become one of the main sports tournaments of the province, which is expected to promote the mini football movement in Khanh Hoa.

The playground for Khanh Hoa’s amateur players in 2017 was also improved with a quality tournament named K-League Cup DBS 2017, held in last October. The tournament was jointly held by the team managers. The tournament was organized and advertised professionally. The information about the tournament as well as comments on the matches was posted on the tournament’s fanpage. Besides, the videos of the exciting match were posted on the fanpage for the sake of people who could not watch the games live. Reportedly, this fanpage has been followed by more than 1,200 people, partly proving the attractiveness of this tournament.

These two movement tournaments reflected some improvements of Khanh Hoa’s football movement. Instead of waiting for the funds from the provincial sports department as before, the sponsors and even participating teams have contributed to promote the movement of the king sport in Khanh Hoa.
