Overcoming Ha Tinh in the final match taking place at Khanh Hoa Provincial Sport Competition House on October 14, the young players of Sanest Khanh Hoa successfully defend their championship at the National Junior Tournament for Volleyball Clubs 2017.
The final match of the 2017 National Junior Tournament for Volleyball Clubs was also the fourth competition between young players of Sanest Khanh Hoa and Ha Tinh since the 2016 tournament when Ha Tinh took part in the tournament for the first time. With superior experience, Sanest Khanh Hoa won three out of four competitions.

On year ago, the young players of Ha Tinh made a remarkable debut at the national junior tournament for volleyball clubs when they defeated many strong teams to qualify for the final match where they were stopped by Sanest Khanh Hoa. Many people supposed that it was just luck that Ha Tinh gained these achievements at the 2016 tournament. However, Ha Tinh’s young players kept asserting their competence at the 2017 tournaments with the wins over strong teams like Border, Becamex - Army Corps 4 and The Cong to enter the final.
In the mean time, Sanest Khanh Hoa had been predicted to be the finalist at this year’s tournament. Sanest Khanh Hoa was the 2016 champion. As the host of the 2017 tournament, Sanest Khanh Hoa was also enthusiastically cheered by the spectators. Besides, in order to prepare for this year’s tournament, the team recruited some outstanding players from the professional and strong young clubs.

At the beginning of the first half of the 2017 final match, the players of Sanest Khanh Hoa seemed to play under the pressure of playing on home ground and having to defend the championship, resulting in three to four points conceded constantly. From the second half of the first half, the spirit of competition of Sanest Khanh Hoa began to be recovered. Finally, Sanest Khanh Hoa won three out of four sets; succeeded in defending the championship title.
