Sanna Khanh Hoa – Bien Vietnam: Keep relying on young athletes

It can be obviously seen that Khanh Hoa's football team has always played with the line-up which mainly includes athletes who were trained in the province. It is not only the plan pursued by Khanh Hoa's football for years but also an inevitable thing in the circumstance that the Khanh Hoa's football cannot afford to offer valuable transfer contracts.

It can be obviously seen that Khanh Hoa’s football team has always played with the line-up which mainly includes athletes who were trained in the province. It is not only the plan pursued by Khanh Hoa’s football for years but also an inevitable thing in the circumstance that the Khanh Hoa’s football cannot afford to offer valuable transfer contracts.

Three years ago, Khanh Hoa re-appeared in the domestic playground after a one-year hiatus. The young athletes of Khanh Hoa U21 gained ticket to enter the National First League 2014 and excellently qualified for V-League 2015. Participating in the most severe football tournament of Vietnam, the young players of Sanna Khanh Hoa – Bien Vietnam (Sanna KH-BVN) displayed varying degrees of competence and stability. The team from the coastal province was considered by their opponents as a “hard-to-beat team” or a “tough team”. A quite high rank in V-League 2015 and V-League 2016 is a reward for the meritorious efforts of the coach board and athletes of Sanna KH-BVN.

Nowadays, lowering age of athletes has become a trend among V-League clubs. This tendency could be seen obviously in the season of V-League 2016 and during the preparation period for the 2017 season. Apart from the local training centers, the teams have sought out new young players from the other ones like Hoang Anh Gia Lai, VPF, Viettel, etc. Not only have decent-sized clubs targeted the young players but also the rich teams (Becamex Binh Duong, FLC Thanh Hoa, Than Quang Ninh) have actively looked for fresh blood.

Sanna KH-BVN is rushing to prepare for the new season. According to coach Vo Dinh Tan, in the training course in Ho Chi Minh City, 15 young players of U19 and U21 together with some other young ones who were on loan to other teams last season will have opportunity to show their skills. During one-week training in the South, Sanna KH-BVN will play against Becamex Binh Duong, Ho Chi Minh City, Long An. Especially, the team will compete with a team of foreign players, which was formed by a broker center and a domestic unit. This is an opportunity for V-League teams to find suitable foreign athletes. Through this training course, Sanna KH-BVN hopes to find a foreign striker to replace forward Uche who transferred to Thanh Hoa. Besides, Sanna KH-BVN also has three foreign probationers from Brazil, Montenegro and Mali in which the Malian forward has played in V-Leagued for years and made 14 goals for Can Tho in the 2015 season.

In brief, apart from a new foreign striker, Sanna KH-BVN will take part in V-League 2017 with its current players and some young ones promoted from its young teams.
