Futsal Khanh Hoa had a good start for 2014 with the championship at the 2030 Businessmen's Futsal Tournament, Cup-Home’Furni, held in Ho Chi Minh City.
The 2030 Businessmen Futsal Tournament, co-organized by Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation, units and enterprises, lasting from December 28th, 2013 to January 20th, 2014, attracted 46 squads of units and enterprises from Ho Chi Minh City, Khanh Hoa Province and Binh Thuan Province.
The squads were divided into A and B level. Sanna and Sanatech, the two Khanh Hoa’s futsal squads, were selected to compete in A level with other ten strong teams, including Metasol, Tan Hiep Hung, An Phuoc Hospital (Binh Thuan), Chau Gia, Hai Phuong Nam, Trinh Thien Wood, Dat Vinh Tien, Hoang Long, Linh Long, etc.

The futsal movement in Khanh Hoa Province has been gradually professionalized and gained a lot of good achievements at the national futsal tournaments thanks to the good investments of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company. Therefore, Khanh Hoa’s futsal squads have been considered as strong ones at most of the movement futsal tournaments held by Ho Chi Minh City.
“The tournament was attended by many strong futsal teams in the Southern region. That was a good opportunity for Futsal Khanh Hoa’s players to exchange, raise the professional quality and gain experience to prepare for the national tournament 2014,” said Hoang Khanh Hung, head of futsal Khanh Hoa team.
Sanna Khanh Hoa entered the final game with four wins and one loss. Sanatech also had a good performance in the qualifying, quarterfinal and semifinal to meet Sanna Khanh Hoa in the final game on January 19th, 2014.
Finally, Sanna Khanh Hoa won the championship after defeating Sanatech in a penalty shootout.
Reportedly, the yearly futsal tournament of Ho Chi Minh City Businessmen Club aims to promote the futsal movement in the Southern region in particular and the nation in general. Therefore, the good achievements of the two Khanh Hoa’s futsal teams are considered as the remarkable ones of the futsal movement in the province.
