Vietnam Red Cross and Khanh Hoa Red Cross held a conference on December 19 to implement and provide training to develop an emergency assistance project funded by United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to help residents in Khanh Hoa Province to recover from the natural disaster. 
 
Present at the event were more than 40 officials of villages and communes benefiting from the project. As planned, the project will be developed in the 3 provinces of Khanh Hoa, Quang Nam and Quang Ngai from now to April 12, 2018 with the aid totaling VND2 billion for 135 households heavily affected by the typhoon in the communes of Dien Xuan, Dien Lam ( Dien Khanh District), Ninh Phung, Ninh Son (Ninh Hoa Town). Each family will receive a VND15 million grant to repair the house and cover daily expenses.
