"Compassionate journey" to take place December 17

On November 24, Nguyen Duy Bac, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee had a working session with local departments and agencies on the hosting of the "compassionate journey" program held by Vietnam Children’s Fund under the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids & Social Affairs and implemented by Alaska Entertainment & Communication Company based in Ho Chi Minh City.


The event is expected to take place at 19-8 Nha Trang Stadium on December 17 with a special art show performed by many local and foreign artists; and scholarship presentation for needy students in Khanh Hoa Province. 110 scholarships including 80 scholarships worth VND1 million each; 20 scholarships, VND2 million each; and 10 scholarships, VND3 million each; will be offered to disadvantaged students, children of needy workers in industrial zones and excellent students respectively. The recipients will continue receiving grants until reaching the age of 18.


The event will also honor organizations, individuals and benefactors for their contribution to Vietnam Children’s Fund in general and Khanh Hoa Children’s Fund in particular; and call for their continued contribution to the charity funds.
