70th anniversary of Uncle Ho's trip to Cam Ranh Bay

Cam Ranh City, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front celebrated the 70th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s trip to Cam Ranh Bay at 18-10 Park on October 17.

 

Le Thanh Quang grants certificates of merit by the Prime Minister to organizations and individuals.

 

Present at the event were Le Thanh Quang, Member of Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Tan Tuan, Permanent Vice-Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Le Duc Vinh, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People’s Committee Chairman; Tran Ngoc Thanh, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; and officials in the Provincial Party Standing Committee, People’s Council and People’s Committee Standing Committee and provincial leaders over periods and local residents.

 

At the event, delegates from Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front; and armed forces in Khanh Hoa Province; districts and towns in Khanh Hoa laid wreaths to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh in commemoration of his great contribution to the country.

 

Speaking at the ceremony, Le Thanh Quang affirmed that President Ho Chi Minh’s trip to Cam Ranh Bay to meet French High Commissioner D’Argenlieu is a milestone in Ho Chi Minh’s glorious revolutionary and diplomatic career.

 

On May 15, 2016, the Politburo issued Directive No. 05 on promoting the studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's moral example. This directive is very meaningful in building the Party and new people in current period. Le Thanh Quang requested the Party committee at all levels, Party organizations, officials, Party members, soldiers and people to grasp and follow the directive.

 

On this occasion, the Prime Minister awarded certificates of merit to 5 organizations and 5 individuals with great achievements in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's moral example, period 2011-2015. The honored organizations and individuals included Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company, Security Investigation Office (Khanh Hoa Public Security), Khanh Hoa Newspaper, Nha Trang City Women’s Union, Cam Loi Ward party Committee (Cam Ranh City); Bui Hong Thai, former Secretary of Khanh Hoa Party Committee; Le Dinh Long, Khanh Hoa Power Company; Lai Van Hung, lecturer at Nha Trang University; Pham Minh Duc, member of Van Phu Commune Veterans’ Association (Van Ninh District); and Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Van Tuong, Cau Bong Border Guard Station, Khanh Hoa Border Guard Headquarters.
