Khanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union launched the 2017 Green Summer Volunteer Campaign and Clean Water Saving Campaign at 2-4 Square, Nha Trang City on July 10.
The campaigns will be carried out in many localities across the province, especially Van Ninh District, Khanh Son District and Khanh Vinh District, until August 31, themed “Youth work together to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas”.
This year’s Green Summer Volunteer Campaign is supported by Comfort One Rinse. Specifically, the Comfort One Rinse gives VND100 million to the provincial Youth Union to install two water purification systems in Van Ninh and Khanh Vinh District; builds ten clean water supply systems and offer 1,000 water tanks to the people in the drought and saline areas throughout Vietnam; propagandize about water saving.
On the occasion of the campaigns’ launching, Prudential Vietnam gave 30 scholarships worth VND30 million to the poor but studious students.
After the launching ceremony, the representatives of the localities, provincial Youth Union, universities and colleges in the province attended a ceremony to commemorate the 70th anniversary of War Invalids’s and Martyrs’ Day held at Hon Du Base (Khanh Dong Commune, Khanh Vinh District).
