On June 10, Khanh Hoa Provincial Cultural Center held Whale Worshipping Ceremony at the beach park Nha Trang (opposing to Tue Tinh Street) as a part of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2017, joined by more than 400 people from Vinh Nguyen Ward and Vinh Truong Ward (Nha Trang City).
On June 10, Khanh Hoa Provincial Cultural Center held Fish Prayer Rite at the beach park Nha Trang (opposing to Tue Tinh Street) as a part of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2017, joined by more than 400 people from Vinh Nguyen Ward and Vinh Truong Ward (Nha Trang).
Fish Prayer Rite is a traditional ritual of the fishermen in the coastal area in the South Central. The fishermen often hold the ceremony in spring to pray for good things, nice weather and bumper year.
Fish Prayer Rite in Khanh Hoa was organized as national intangible cultural heritage in 2012.
