Mini marts bring convenience for buyers

Along with supermarkets, there are more and more mini-marts in Nha Trang now. The mini marts have partly diversified shopping places for locals as well as tourists.

 

Over 10 years, Amart is a mini-mart chain which has become familiar with tourists and locals. Aiming to serve tourists, most of Amart stores are located at streets gathering a lot of tourists like Tran Quang Khai, Biet Thu, Nguyen Thien Thuat, Hung Vuong, etc. The marts offer many kinds of consumer products like food and foodstuff, cosmetics, clothes, art objects for gifts, local specialties, etc. Pham Thi Vinh, director of Amart Co. Ltd. said, “There are 10 Amarts in Nha Trang now. Each of them supplies about 300 – 400 commodities. Amarts always tries to diversify commodities to satisfy demands of tourists who come from many countries to Nha Trang.”

Vinmart is a chain with many mini marts in Nha Trang. Different from Amart, Vinmart aims to locals in residential groups. There are 7 mini marts of Vinmart+ on streets like Nguyen Trai, Hoang Van Thi, Le Hong Phong, Da Tuong, Hoang Dieu, etc. With advantages in brand name, diversified goods, good prices and long opening time (6am – 10pm), Vinmart+ has attracted a large number of buyers. Le Thu Thuy, living in Le Hong Phong Street, said, “After work, I often dropped at Vinmart to buy food. It’s quick and convenient.”

 

Beside mini-marts of big trademarks, there are also some 24-hour stores in Nha Trang. Although such stores don’t have as much as marts, they enjoy large customers.

 

Thus, satisfying demands for quick and convenient shopping, good products with clear origin, stable prices, early open and late close, mini marts, mini marts are frequent shopping place of many people. However, some opinions said that fresh food, vegetable and fruits are not abundant. To attract more customers, mini marts need to offer more kinds of products.
