Accordingly, computerized lottery products released by Vietlott has been launched in Khanh Hoa with 150 terminals. The presence of the computerized lottery is expected to offer the people lottery game as a way of healthy entertaining and partly reduce illegal forms of gambling. Takings from its business operation also will contribute into social welfare.
This kind of lottery is similar to the lottery model in USA. In Vietnam, it was launched in Ho Chi Minh City for the first time on July 18, 2016, then expanded to Can Tho, An Giang, Binh Duong, Dong Nai and Ba Ria – Vung Tau.
Over 4 months, it has brought funs to a lot of people, especially three people wining Jackpot worth VND92 billion, VND65 billion and VND72 billion. In the time to come, Vietlott will launch operation in Dak Lak, Da Nang, Ha Noi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, etc.
At the launch ceremony in Khanh Hoa, Vietlott donated the province VND1 billion to build charity houses. The sum of money will be disbursed in 5 years, with VND200 million each year.
