Big C Nha Trang are selling about 200 local commodities which are of well-known trademarks like Khatoco fashion, 584 Fish Sauce, etc. or maybe seafood, green vegetable, etc. Ho Quoc Nguyen, an official of Big C Vietnam revealed that local products of Khanh Hoa Province have been sold well and got lots of good feedbacks from consumers.
In Co.opmart Nha Trang, local products are placed separately. There are plentiful kinds of food and foodstuff like fresh seafood, vegetable, eggs, fish sauce, seaweed, dried mango sheets, etc. The supermarkets have cooperated with over 10 local suppliers to diversify this kind of products.
Local products of Khanh Hoa Province also are available at Lotte Mart Nha Trang as well as other supermarkets nationwide of this Korean chain.

To get admission to supermarkets, suppliers are required to have business certificate, food safety certificate, product quality announcement, periodical product test result, and some other kinds of papers.
Luong Quoc Thinh, marketing manager of Co.opmart Nha Trang, said that, “The supermarket also has put some products of Khanh Hoa Province into other supermarkets in Co.opmart chain. On special occasions, local producers also join promotions that are launched by the supermarket to popularize their products.”
At a recent conference to connect supply and demand, Lotte Mart Vietnam Product Strategy Mananger Yoon Byung Soo also committed to give priority to local producers, especially farm products and local specialties.
To attract consumers and expand markets more, local products of Khanh Hoa Province need to continue improving products’ quality and design more as well as keep reasonable prices.
