Minh Dat Private Enterprise (in Ninh Tho Commune, Ninh Hoa Town), which produces art handicrafts, has been supported VND63 million from the industry encouragement fund. The enterprise has invested VND240 million to build workshop and buy machines to produce 350,000 handicraft products. Tran Huu Thin, director of the enterprise said that the industry encouragement of the province has impulsed his enterprise to invest and applies machines in production. The industry encouragement has partly created more jobs for local laborers.
Similarly, with the support of the industry encouragement fund, forest product processing business of Nguyen Quang Bac in Son Thai Commune, Khanh Vinh District has invested VND420 million to purchase machines for producing wood furniture like beds, wardrobes, tables, chairs… and art woodworks. “From the support and our capital, we have invested a lot machines and equipment for production, which makes our business’s operation more effective and creates frequent jobs for 12 local laborer”, said the business’s owner Nguyen Quang Bac.

According to Vo Dinh Thoai, deputy director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Industry Encouragement and Trade Promotion Center, the center has done many industry encouragement activities to support rural industrial enterprises so far this year. VND238 million has been poured into performing and applying 3 technical models. From now to the end of the year, the center will support VND425 million for 4 rural industrial enterprises, namely Hoang Hoa Thon Herbal Tea (in Nha Trang City), Ninh Hoa Urban Joint Stock Company (in Ninh Hoa Town), Dai Quyet Tien Co., Ltd. (in Dien Khanh District), and Thao Vy Brick (in Cam Ranh City). In addition, the center will support rural industrial enterprises to take part in the provincial exhibition.
To repair for industry encouragement in 2017, the provincial Industry Encouragement and Trade Promotion Center has made plan and estimated expenditure. The center will attach importance to help enterprises raising management ability and create typical rural industrial products. Besides, the center has planned to support 19 rural industrial enterprises to perform technical models, transfer technologies and advances with total expenditure of over VND1.8 billion. Also in 2017, industry encouragement activities will focus on developing typical rural industrial products, consulting rural industrial enterprises, etc.
