Lots of commodities
 
“Co.opmart Nha Trang is selling about 1,000 commodities of Co.opmart brand name. In comparison with the similar products, products of Co.opmart brand name have equal quality but 10% - 20% lower prices,” said Luong Quoc Thinh, marketing manager of Co.opmart Nha Trang.
 
Lotte Mart Nha Trang is also selling more than 1,000 commodities of its own brand name Choice L. “Beside Choice L - the brand name of products with good quality and reasonable price, and Choice L Save - the brand name of products with economic price, Lotte Mart has just launched a brand name called “Cực Đã” with many good products”, said Lee Yong Ho from Lotte Mart Vietnam.

At Big C supermarket, there are also hundreds of commodities bearing Big C brand like cosmetics, drinks, foodstuffs, etc. Because supermarkets work with producers directly and reducing marketing cost, prices of these commodities are 15% - 30% lower than others.
 
Initially well-consumed 
 
Thanks to lower prices and diversified varieties, products with brand names of supermarkets are bought by a number of consumers. “Such products have saved me much. For example, a liter of cooking oil costs only VND27,900 while that of other companies costs VND35,000 – VND40,000”, said a buyer named Ngo Thi Thu Trang. “Products with brand names of supermarkets are reliable as the supermarkets ensure them”, another consumer named Do Lan Anh.
 
Representative of Co.opmart Nha Trang revealed that sales of Co.opmart products make up over 8% of the supermarket’s total sales and tend to be on the rise recently. Customers also give good feedbacks to the products. 
 
Representative of Lotte Mart Vietnam also said that sales of products of its brand name have increased from 2% to 6% of total sales and is expected to reach 15% in 2018. All of these products are required to be qualified for all regulations and checks and certificated. Then, their quality is good and well-consumed.
