Previously, power in the northern area of Nha Trang City was supplied by the 110kV transformer station E31 (located in Hon Nghe) with 25MVA transformer. Recently, load of medium-tension wires has been high and load at transformer station E31 has reached 95%. To ensure power supply for this area, Khanh Hoa Power Joint Stock Company has put a 40 MVA transformer at the station E31 and more medium-tension wires into operation.
In Cam Lam District, a project to supply power for rural areas from the national grid in remote communes has been executed promptly. This project has been invested under the Decision 2081 by the Prime Minister on supplying power for rural, mountainous and island areas in the period of 2013 – 2020, aiming to develop low and medium tension grid for no power areas and supply power for many households to improve living of people in remote areas and partly keep security in the district. Under this project, 8.77km of medium-tension wires, 76.78km low-tension wires, and 18 transformer stations with total capacity of 2,777kVA. The project will be carried out in 13 communes of Cam Lam District. 2,169 household will benefit by the project.

In 2016, despite some difficulties, Khanh Hoa Power Joint Stock Company has invested in many works in order to raise the capacity of power supply for local life and production. Nearly VND45 billion is planned to be poured to repair 79 works; and over VND500 billion is planned to invested to build more than 200 works and items of electricity grid, transformer stations, etc. The company has upgraded electricity grid, applied technological advances into operation, improve responsibility of the staff, supply power safely and ensure power quality. Power production of the company so far this year has reached over 1.23 billion kWh, increasing by 9.87% year-on-year.
Khanh Hoa Power Joint Stock Company has recently finished examining and verifying the list of big constructions and repairs in 2017 with total investment of VND527 billion.
