According to Permanent Vice-chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee Tran Son Hai, implementing Resolution 35 dated May 16, 2016 by the Government on supporting and developing businesses till 2020, the province will carry out many measures to support and improve business environment to facilitate the development of businesses.
Following is the translation of an interview Khanh Hoa News made with Permanent Vice-chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee Tran Son Hai.
- What are the highlights of the action program to implement Resolution 35 in Khanh Hoa Province?
- To implement Resolution 35 of the Government, Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee delivered Decision 1755 dated June 22, 2016 on the province’s action program which has set targets till 2020 that businesses in the province have competitiveness and stable development; and the whole province has more than 15,000 businesses, 2% of which have large scale and strong force. To reach the targets, the program suggests some main measures such as reforming administrative affairs, ensuring business rights and equality for businesses, reducing costs for businesses, protecting rights and legal benefits of businesses and creating advantageous environment to support businesses in opening and renovating.
- Which measure will the province do for better administrative reform in the time to come
- In the time to come, the province will step up information technology application in State management, especially online services to reduce time and cost in administrative formalities; disclose processes, formalities and conditions for businesses; disclose results in solving difficulties and petitions of businesses; carry out one door mechanism effectively; solve administrative formalities timely; and guide administrative formalities for businesses.
To master the practical situation of businesses and solve difficulties for them timely, the province will host periodical talks with businesses at least twice a year. Besides, the staff of public servants will be corrected to prevent bureaucracy and corruption and violations will be punished strictly.
- What will the province do to create advantageous environment aiming to support businesses in opening and renovating?
- The province will execute many measures comprehensively such as disclosing socioeconomic planning of the province, promoting investment, completing policies on investment preference and support, and facilitating private businesses to access development sources, especially in projects in the forms of BT, BOT and PPP in the province.
In addition, the province will support business establishment and science as well as technologies in businesses. The province will also coordinate with universities and colleges to build up syllabuses and activities to encourage business spirit of students as well as the new generation of the province.
The province will intensify activities to connect businesses, towards the international market. The province will also support businesses in building trademarks, trade promotion and equipment innovation. Especially, the province will popularize information about international cooperation and trade agreements to improve integration ability for businesses, expand export and investment, etc.
