Hoang Trang Farm, new tourist destination in Khanh Hoa

Hoang Tram Farm is located on three hills and overlooking Cai River. Covering an area of 30 hectares, Hoang Tram Farm grows more than 30,000 agarwood trees which are 15 years old and have created agarwood. Aiming to develop the farm as a tourist spot, since May, 2015, its owner has invested it in the direction of an ecological tourist farm of agarwood.  Pham Anh Tuan, the owner said, “Khanh Hoa is the land of agarwood. We desire to make a destination to present knowledge about agarwood for visitors through fact-finding experience.”

Hoang Tram Farm has opened to welcome visitors since March, 2017. Comers to the farm can visit its agarwood tree garden, be introduced about features of the trees which can create agar. In the sector where agarwood is displayed, beside images introducing about history, uses and meaning of agarwood, visitors can see the farm’s staff cut tree to get agarwood. In the sector to enjoy agarwood, visitors have a chance to experience a very relaxing place with the fragrance of agar, the soft music and the special taste of agar tea. “We desire to make Hoang Tram Farm to become a destination of tourists on the routes of Nha Trang – Da Lat and Nha Trang – Yang Bay. We try to speed up the cooperation with partners”, Pham Anh Tuan said.
 
Just put into operation but Hoang Tram has attracted a lot of visitors, especially Chinese tourists. Hoang Tram Farm not only has contributed as a special local tourist product in Dien Khanh – Khanh Vinh, but has opened a practical cooperation among tourist businesses, said Pham Quoc Tuan, sales manager of Yang Bay Tourist Park.
