Eight teams join contest on cultural heritages in Khanh Hoa

Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports held a contest on the province's cultural heritages on November 26. Joining the contest were eight teams from Nha Trang, Dien Khanh, Ninh Hoa, Van Ninh, Cam Lam, Cam Ranh, Khanh Son, and Khanh Vinh.
 

Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports held a contest on the province’s cultural heritages on November 26. Joining the contest were eight teams from Nha Trang, Dien Khanh, Ninh Hoa, Van Ninh, Cam Lam, Cam Ranh, Khanh Son, and Khanh Vinh.

The contest included four events: introduction; learning about world cultural heritages in Vietnam, national cultural heritages in Khanh Hoa, history and culture of Khanh Hoa, and law on cultural heritages; recognizing cultural heritages through images; performing as tour guide.

Through the events, the teams introduced many famous monuments and sights of Khanh Hoa, such as Ponagar Temple, Hon Chong, Mui Doi – Hon Dau, and Am Chua as well as knowledge on preserving and promoting cultural heritages.

At the end of the contest, the organization committee awarded first prize to Khanh Son team. Dien Khanh was offered second prize; Van Ninh and Ninh Hoa got third prize; the others were given consolation prizes.
