Raising awareness on protection of nature in green heritage week

On the occasion of the 9th Vietnamese Cultural Heritage Day (November 23), the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism associated with the Ministry of Education and Training and the Cultural Heritage Association of Vietnam held the green heritage culture and tourism week taking place from November 19 to 23 at the Vietnam Exhibition Centre for Culture and Arts (2 Hoa Lu Street, Hanoi).

Joining the event are the provinces and cities nationwide which have the world natural heritages, biosphere reserves, ASEAN Heritage Parks and the nation parks such as Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Nam Dinh, Bac Ninh, Thai Binh, Bac Can, Ha Giang, Nghe An, Quang Binh, Quang Nam, Kon Tum, Ho Chi Minh City and Ca Mau.
 
The green heritage week aims to honour and bring into play Vietnam’s unique natural values, especially the UNESCO-recognized world natural heritages.
